What... A Bounce House in the Living Room?? (And Other March Updates)

In case you're wondering what happens while Mommy's at work and Daddy and Charlotte are left home alone together, here's a preview: a bounce house in our living room!!! We bought this for a steal at Christmas time but didn't put it under the tree because it would have been a tease. It was bought with the intention of setting it up outside when the weather got nice. I guess she saw the box (with a picture on it) so Stephe decided to set it up. To be honest, I didn't even think it would fit in the house, the thing is 7 ft x 7 ft! Luckily, it folds up pretty small like a tent and we can put it in a closet when it's not in use.

Playground trips have started as well which is great. The last 2 Wednesdays were really nice out so we took Charlotte to the playground for an hour or 2 at lunch time. Came home, had lunch then off to the crib. She actually napped after both trips which are really the only naps she's taken at home since before Christmas. Ah, I love fresh air!! I hope it continues all summer.

On a side note, I had a little reality check while I was there. There were a couple mothers with one kid about Charlotte's age and a little baby. This one particular woman stood out. She had her baby in the baby bjorn and had to pick up the 3 year old to help her on a swing. She made it look easy... I hope I do too! One thing's for sure... I better start working out again!!!

Here's Charlotte with her friend Hannah on the tire swing. She loves getting "busy" (Charlotte speak for dizzy).
Stephe, Charlotte and I stopped by Grammy's house with a little cake to celebrate her birthday. Charlotte sang Happy Birthday dear Charlotte then blew out the candles. Who's birthday was it?Here's the little Hollywood star at the airport watching planes taking off and landing. She loves airplanes.

Charlotte's First Bike Ride

Today was a beautiful day, I think we hit 50! We had no plans and I didn't want to just spend the day in the house. The playgrounds aren't ready yet so we decided to pull out Charlotte's new tricycle. It used to be Hunter's. She loved it. Of course she cried and screamed when it was time to come in but my back couldn't take it any longer. She did great though. She road all to way to the end of Summer St! Then she walked and rode back. Here are some pictures and a little video clip.

Baby Girl #2?

We're pretty sure Charlotte's going to have a little sister. Not only are we probably having another little girl but after seeing this little one moving around like crazy in there, I'm thinking we're going to have another little dancer! Maybe we'll name her Charlotte JR. :) I was very happy and relieved to see her moving so much because I haven't really felt a whole lot yet and it started making me a little nervous. But today she was kicking non-stop, literally flipping around and moved from one end of me to the other all the while, I felt absolutely nothing. At one point she rolled over so her face was facing my spine... The technician really had to work hard to get all the measurements she needed to get. Hmmm, already doesn't like to have her picture taken, we might be in trouble! LOL She just kept saying this little baby is VERY active! It probably didn't help that my appointment was at 1:30 in the afternoon so I had lunch right before we left for the hospital. According the tech, everything looked great. She weighed 13 ounces which I guess is 48%, right in the middle for babies at 20 weeks, 3 days. Her heart beat was 135 beats per minute which is high for an adult but nice and strong for a baby. The dates according to the u/s put us within 1 day of what we thought the due date was so it looks like we're really on target for July 19th-ish.

Here are the pictures from today:
I think this one is a little darker and easier to see.

I pulled out Charlotte's profile picture from 29 weeks pregnant. I'm not that good at reading these things but from what I can tell, they're going to look a lot alike. Here's Charlotte in the womb:
