Last night we had our first experience with Charlotte showing off for company. She's usually really shy and won't sing when we want her to for other people to hear. It was really funny last night. She got a taste of applause and couldn't get enough of it. At first we were all paying attention to her while she did her tricks and sang her songs and at the end we would all cheer and clap. But after a while, we started talking to each other and not paying 100% attention to Charlotte. She got our attention back by singing louder and louder. So cute!
I've been wanting to catch some of this on video for a while and since she was clearly in the right mood last night, I jumped at the opportunity. The videos aren't great quality since I was a little too far from her and had to zoom. I wish I was closer for the volume. And I didn't realize it while filming but Lainey was chewing her bone right under my feet. That's the clicking noise you can hear that's sometimes louder than Charlotte's singing. LOL
