April Updates

Here are a few pictures from April. Auntie Mich and Hunter on the see-saw at the playground. Charlotte and I were on the other side.

Stephe took Charlotte swimming at MWCC. She had a great time and didn't want to leave. In the locker room afterwards, she wouldn't put her arms up to get her bathing suit off figuring if we couldn't get it off her, we wouldn't have to leave. Here she is ready to go. It's her first bikini and I could seriously have eaten her up in it.

For a year, I've been trying to sign her up for swimming lessons but the classes fill up ridiculously fast. I've tried a couple different places and had no luck. Currently she's #9 on a waiting list... The class only allows 8 kids total so even if they decided to add another session, she's not in. At this point, I'm pretty sure it would be easier to get into college than mom and me swimming!

We celebrated my grandmother's 80th b-day party at the end of the month. It was such a fun party. I would guess about 40 to 50 people came to celebrate and we had lobsters and rib eyes and more food than anyone could imagine. Here are some pictures. As you can tell, Charlotte takes after her Daddy and really didn't want to be in any of these. :)

I love this one... 4 generations.

Look how sweet she is

One funny story is that on the way to the party, I had Charlotte all excited to eat lobster with Daddy. I don't eat it but Stephe loves it. Anyway, she couldn't wait. Then I made the mistake of showing her the live lobsters. For the rest of the day, out of the blue, she would just say "Charlotte don't eat lobsters" and wouldn't take a bite. Even when I tried to trick her. I hope she never makes the connection to where the rest of meat comes from. hehe

Since a lot of my relatives were in from out of town, people came back to my parents for breakfast the next morning. Here are some pictures of the kids playing. We could not have asked for better weather.
